Birmingham has some great universities and BCU, Aston, the College of Law and the Conservatoire are all near to where we meet. Over the years, many students have made The Crown their home for their time in Birmingham.
We think that it is important for students to be part of the church family and encourage students to get involved with all aspects of church life. In the past many of the students who have joined us have taken an active part in areas of church life including being part of and leading some of our Housegroups, leading worship, serving in Kid’s Work and being part of the ‘Contact’ team.
Although college can be hard work, most students find that they also have time to be part of the church family, grow in their faith, be discipled and trained and make a huge difference to the church.
We regularly have Community lunches after our Sunday meetings, as well as various social events throughout the terms and we welcome and encourage students to be part of what’s happening.
If you are new to the city (or new to the UK) or are about to start at uni, we would love it if you get in contact with us or come and visit before you start at college – it makes the move much easier if you know a few friendly faces and we will do all we can to help you settle into life in Birmingham
